She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurelia Hope Pratt and Charles Milton Smith; her husband Evan Jay Rasmussen; and her son Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, Don (Toni), Carol (Allan), Susan, Daniel (Cindy), David (Melynda), Melanie (Humam) and Larry (Jennifer); and her stepchildren, Robin (Bill), Jerry (Nancy), Shelly, Steven (Brenda) and Randy (Kathy). She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
