It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Jean McConaghy (Fircrest, Washington), born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Beverly Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverly Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Corrine Kohlenhoefer and Lyle Anderson; and her son Douglas J Guthmiller. She is survived by: her children, Steve (Barbara Ruff) and Cathie (Gary Ogilvie). She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and seven great- great grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (7112 S 12th St, Tacoma, WA 98465). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (5212 70th St W, Tacoma, WA 98467). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fircrest Golf Club (1500 Regents Blvd, Fircrest, WA 98466).
