He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Newman and Sally Newman; his son Richard Justin Dallas Newman; his grandchildren, Deanna Davis and Brenden Gradford; and his brothers, Kenneth Newman and Dennis Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri Cross; his children, Sandi Bailey (Tim), Sherry Gradford, Tara Huggins (Drew) and Steven Newman (Jeanett); and his grandchildren, Timmy, Justin, Douglas, Nick, Bradley, Gabby, Eva, Sawyer, Halle and Noah. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the FIR Lane Memorial Park (924 176th St E, Spanaway, WA 98387). A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the FIR Lane Funeral Home (924 176th St E, Spanaway, WA 98387).
