She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stanley McHugh and Elida Depew Glidden McHugh; her husband George Koval; her siblings, Marjorie Paske, John McHugh, Walter "Buster" McHugh and David McHugh (Shirley); and her sons, Lloyd Costello Jr. and Walter Charles "Chuck" Costello.
She is survived by: her aunt Florence; and her children, Shannon, Leonard and Catherine. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:50 PM to 6:20 PM at the Rosary and Funeral Services. A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Gaffney Funeral Home (1002 S Yakima Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (5510 N 44th St, Tacoma, WA 98407).
