He is survived by: his children, Gary Carpenter (Nancy), Carolyn Carpenter, Scott Carpenter (Sage) and Patti Carpenter Murray; his grandchildren, Kevin, Allison Murray, Harlee, Avery and Laila Carpenter; and his nephew Bob Corwin.
