He was predeceased by: his wife Terry Freseman; his mother Faye Koller; his stepfather Gilbert Koller; his brother Chad Freseman; and his nephew Christopher Owens.

He is survived by: his father Gary Freseman; his stepmother Sue Freseman; his stepson Ian; his siblings, Richard Freseman (Wyne), Terrie Owens (Mike Roach), Mary Smith, Paul Koller and Kristin Lamon; and his nieces and nephews, Nick Owens, Liz Dean, Rowena Rogers, Madeline Freseman, Thomas Smith, Bennett Lamon, Sloane Lamon and Veronica Lamon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lions Club International or to The American Cancer Society.
