Jacob Varghese Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 89, Jacob Varghese in George, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacob Varghese to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jacob is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jacob's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dr. Praymol Varghese; his children, Tracy Varghese McGeehan of Washington, D. C. and George P. Varghese of Cambridge, Massachusetts.; and his grandchildren, Evelyn Praymol Varghese, Grace Monroe Varghese, Declan Jacob McGeehan and Sadie Lily McGeehan.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church (9701 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 7707 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.
