With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Smith in Gig Harbor, Washington, who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, F. Laurence Stotsenberg and Wallace A. Smith; her parents, Ruth Peters and Guy Peters; her siblings, Irene E. Enger (Bert), Helen J. Miller (Fred) and Walter A. Peters (Doris); her grandson Fredric L. Stotsenberg; and her stepson Mark H. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel F. Stotsenberg, Fredric L. Stotsenberg (Luciana) and Kristi S. Steffen (Scott); her stepson Jeff Smith (Monica); and her grandchildren, Aaron W. Stotsenberg, Jillian L. Steffen, Jacob P. Steffen, Erick V. Stotsenberg and Jessica V. Stotsenberg.
