She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Everson and Mary Evelyn Everson; Mildred Cook. She is survived by: her husband Cliff Cook of Gig Harbor; her children, Christopher, Jennifer Cook, Shannon, Nicolai Larsen, Sean and Klara Cook; her grandchildren, Kyle, Jack and Ava (Christopher); her children, Samantha Joan, Soren (Shannon), Taylor, Charlie and Leo (Sean); her brother John Everson; and her sibling's children, Michael and Rachael.

A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1123 N J St, Tacoma, WA 98403).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joanie's honor to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
