Marie Benning Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 100, Marie Benning of Gig Harbor, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Benning to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Foss and Clara Foss; and her brothers, Percy, Meroon (Mac) and Vernon.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Victor Benning. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Nicholas Church of Gig Harbor.
