He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Edward "Bud" Newman and Patricia Ann Mooneyham. He is survived by: his children, Eric Newman (Joy), Amy Hammingh (Mark) and Julie Van Fleet (Aaron); his grandchildren, Angelique Newman, Sarah Newman, Alexander Hammingh, Nicholas Van Fleet, Aislinn Hammingh and Austin Van Fleet; his stepdaughter Alisha Marsh (Jason); and his grandchildren, Tristan Hunter and Andrea Hunter. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
