He is survived by: his siblings, John Absten Jr. and Betty Sable; his children, Harmony Gehlert, Ivy Gardner and Kyle Absten; and his grandchildren, Jade Absten, River Absten-Eudy, Owen Eudy, Evan Eudy, Kasen Absten, Jenna Absten, Swan Gehlert and Korbin Gehlert.
