As Saundra departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Saundra may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Saundra leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Roswurm and Marjorie McCain; and her grandson James Switzer. She is survived by: her husband Gary Rouse; her daughters, Carie Rouse (Josh), Christine Vaudrin (Jorge) and Chireen Pennypacker (Jack); her grandchildren, Nicole Pennypacker, Lia Rios, Dalila Rios, Guadalupe Rios and Saul Rios; and her great grandchild Gigi.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rest Funeral Home (8503 WA-16, Gig Harbor, WA 98332).
