Charles Amidon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Amidon of Goldendale, Washington, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Bud" Amidon and Alda Amidon; his brother Howard Amidon; his brother-in-law Steve Jones; his nephew Mike McNeely; and his great-niece Jennifer Lawrence (Amidon).

He is survived by: his wife Linda Amidon (Hoctor); his siblings, Diane Jones, Karl Amidon (Deena) and Alda McNeely; his children, Linda Ann Borland (Jens), Charlie Amidon (Michelle) and Luke Amidon (Qaiyaana); his grandchildren, Jonah Lawrence, Adele Borland, Jenneeva Lawrence, Jeddrick Lawrence, Joseph Prince (Laural), Kendra Niehaus (Dan), Taylor Prince, Isaiah Amidon, Joel Amidon and Keira Amidon; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Athena, Eva and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Chuck's name to Washington Trails, Quilts of Valor, or Alaskan Malamute Rescue.
