He is survived by: his wife Lynn Verkler; his sons, George Verkler (Arni) and Art Verkler Jr. (Dawn); his grandchildren, Ashley Verkler, Brandy Bryan (Jonathan), Eilynn Verkler and Henry Verkler; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Lola Lopez, Aurora Bryan and Sebastian Bryan; and his sisters-in-law, Anita Alexander and JoAnn Ryan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of St. Paul (22419 108th Ave E Ste. A, Graham, WA 98338). The military honors was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bonney Watson-Washington Memorial.
