She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dean and Bulah Dean; and her sister Margaret Ellis Dean. She is survived by: her husband Ray Thompson; her daughter Lisa Gail Thompson-Mix (Kevin); her grandchildren, Antwon Thompson and Keyonna Mix-Thompson; and her great grandchild Z'amir Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
