“My last correspondence with Iva was October 2022. So sorry to learn she passed. I have enjoyed reading her biography and would like to purchase more copies. She was truly a remarkable woman. I founded the Orphan Train Heritage Society of America and her father-in-law was one of the orphans. His story, written by Iva, is in one of the books at the National Orphan Train complex in Concordia, Kansas. I'm missing her. Mary Ellen Johnson”
