With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maridell Therese Hill in Hoquiam, Washington, born in Fordville, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2026 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Knutson Ness (GK) and Tina Dale Ness. She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Tina Vessey and Gerald Hill Jr. (Lisa); her siblings, Truman Ness, Ken Ness and Marlys Bye; and her grandchildren, Crosby Vessey, Amanda Vessey, Katie Wareham, Austin Hill-Todd, Megan Lockett and Lindsey Hill. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
