He was predeceased by: his parents, Burlington Mayor Adrian Strong and Florence Clayton Strong. He is survived by: his grandchild Erin; his son Matt Strong (Graham Lord) of Mercer Island, WA; his grandchildren, Abby (Harrison), Jacob, Lily, Grace, Ella and Max; his great grandchild Marcus; his daughter Erin Strong Fulton (Nate Fulton); his grandsons, Magnus and Axel of Yakima, WA; his close friend Marilynn Dunne (Ontario, family: Steph, Mike, Lynn, David, Tom) of Peterborough; his grandchildren, Laura (Phil), Kristy (Jeff), Julie (Nate), Holly, Delaney, Shane, Mathew, Kate and Michael; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Emily, Lylie and Anna; his sister Janice Gourley (Dick Gourley); and his nephews, Ken and Ron Jenkins.
Their 3 week tour of exotic Morocco with its goats in trees was a unique adventure, and they returned home just as the pandemic lockdown started.
If desired, memorial gifts may be given to Swedish Foundation for research of idiopathic interstitial pneumonia and lung diseases; Providence General Foundation Everett heart center; or to Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation for cardiac care.
