He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred E. Brune and Cornelia Nieveen; his wife Ruth R. Pitzen; and his sons, Victor and Jim.
He is survived by: his sister Audrey of Lynden, WA.; and his children, Annette (Roger), Alane (George), Celese (Patrick) and John. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
