He was predeceased by : his parents, Magdalena Moll and Anton Moll; his brother Jacob; his wives, Barbara Slaybaugh and Dorothy Gray; his son-in-law Mark Dossey; and his stepdaughter Sandra Flynn (Mark) of Sammamish.

He is survived by : his brothers, John, Matthew, Tony and Steve; his daughters, Jackie West (Chris) of Jackson, Jeanette Jones (Mike) of Van Wert, Carolyn Dossey (Mark) of Jackson, Michigan. and Sharie Collar; and his stepsons, Richard Gray (Ann) of Bellingham and Timothy Gray (Mary) of Sammamish, Washington.. He is also survived by seven children and stepchildren, Joe had 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
