She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde R. Rogers, Sr. and Lorene Rogers (Collier); her son Robert Neal Groves; her husband Joseph M. Groves, Jr.; and her brother Clyde, Jr..

She is survived by: her son James A. Groves (Patricia); her grandchildren, Jeremiah R. Groves (Kat) and Christina Riley; and also, Maia, William Riley, James and Jolie Groves.
