We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 98, Joyce Nodene Maxey in Issaquah, Washington, born in Cove, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Sims and Sarah Sims (Clark); her daughter Barbara Koenig; her husband George Maxey; and her grandchildren, Robert Koenig and Kimber White.
She is survived by: her sister Muriel Manning; her daughter Georgia PettyJohn (Elroy); and her grandchildren, Desiree Cuddihy (Hart), Casey Koenig (Tammy), Beth Koenig and Christy Keith (Kendall). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
