Milton Ronald Walter Obituary
Milton R. Walter of Bellevue, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 26, 2021 with his wife, Sue, by his side. He was born on August 19, 1927 to Louis and Gladys Walter in Port Townsend, Washington. He was the first of three children, with the youngest, "Ishy" preceding his death. He grew up in Everett, WA then attended Gonzaga University majoring in Electrical Engineering after which he spent time in the Navy and continued on to Dental School at Marquette University where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1953. He met his wife, Sue Swiderski of Wausau, Wisconsin while in Dental School and they were married following his graduation. They moved to Bellevue, Washington where they raised their family. He is survived by his wife, Sue Walter and their three children: Lora Cyr (Bill) of Bellevue, WA and their three sons, John, Paul, and Michael; Larry Walter of Bellevue, WA; and Judy McMillan (Jim) of Bellevue, WA and their two daughters, Maria and Christina.
Milt started his dental practice in 1953 on Old Main Street in Bellevue, WA and practiced dentistry until 2000. He and Sue also worked together where they achieved great success in their Real Estate ventures which they continued working and enjoying well past his retirement. Boating was his passion and we always joked about it being his "first love." Milt was very active in Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club where he was Commodore in 1976. He was also active in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellevue, WA where he was very involved in the Knights of Columbus and in the building of a new church location on top of Clyde Hill, WA in the 1950's. His faith was his main purpose in life. He constantly shared his faith and prayer life with his family, and he always prayed for the next 100 generations to go to Heaven! He was a very generous and selfless person, full of love and compassion and will be terribly missed by all who loved him.
A reception will be planned for a future date at Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club.
