Ronald Edward Rowe Obituary
Ronald Edward Rowe lived a full life; he dreamed big, loved with intensity and laughed with a contagious vigor. He passed peacefully at home May 4 and is survived by his wife, Marilyn and his 5 siblings and best friends, Anita Primo, Nadine Wolfe, Phil Rowe, Louise Quinn and Greg Rowe.
Ron was born October 16, 1938 to Sterling and Marie Rowe. He was aptly nicknamed “rascal” by his mother. At a young age he would spend time with his siblings raising animals from pheasants to snakes and teaching himself how to construct items from all types of materials. A train track ran through the walls of his childhood home, a project designed and completed by Ron himself. He was a curious and creative dreamer.
Family and relationships brought him great joy and he was never without a joke or entertaining story paired with a noogie or a nudge. His laugh filled a room. He will be remembered for these things as well as his great love of trains, his passion for projects and wood-working, his collection of beautiful spring bulbs and the love he shared so freely with his family. As a proud member of the United State Air Force, Ron had many stories to tell of his travels and time abroad that will live on through his family.
A casual gathering in remembrance will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 3-6pm at the Beaver Lake Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northwest Railway Museum can be made in his memory.
