We announce the death of Rita Magdalene Cordrey of Kelso, Washington, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Michels and Loretta Michels; her husband John Cordrey; her son Chris Cordrey; her grandson Reuben Cordrey; her brother Ken Michels; her brothers-in-law, Jim Goodman and Ron LaFave; and her son-in-law Bill Davis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Darlene Goodman of Longview, Marie LaFave of Kelso and Harley Michels (Carol) of Longview; her children, Tom Cordrey (Vicki) of Kingsland, Susan Davis of Colville, Holly Larsen (Roger) of Colville and Katy Cordrey (Dave DeFelice) of Spokane, Washington; and her grandchildren, Louis Pardini of Colville, Mary Easterday (Cole) of Hermiston and Amber Todd of Fortuna. She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (320 N Maple St, Colville, WA 99114). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Mount Carmel Hospital Auxiliary, Colville Senior Center (The Hub) or the Stevens County Historical Society Museum.
