He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thomas Brownie and Inga Brownie; his wife Norma Olson; his brothers, Les and Tom DeRoos; his half-siblings, Tam, Gregory Brownie and Laurell Ham; and his stepbrother Ron DeRoos.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Dyer, Kathleen Scott (Russ), Jeff DeRoos (Vicki), James DeRoos (Diana) and Greg DeRoos (Tracey); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Austin, Whitney, Bryanna, Lindsay, Simon, Trenton, Joseph, Emily, Dakotah and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Eric, Sophia, Mercy and Jethro; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn DeRoos, Karen DeRoos and Julie Gunderson; his siblings, Toni Moody and Mark Brownie; his stepsister Lorraine Duke; and his close friends, Nicole Greenfield, Diane Dauphine and Alma Garcia.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mueller's Desert Lawn Memorial Park (1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA 99338). A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel (10611 W Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336).
