With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Joe Jones in Kennewick, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Glenda Faye Pierce-Jones; and his parents, Andrew Jackson Jones and Maude Hodges Jones. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ilene Lunyou-Jones; his children, Anthony Joe Jones (Nyla), Serena Louise Jones-Sweeney (David), Cynthia Marie Jones-Steelman and Lisa Bonita Jones-Engelen; his stepchildren, John Sanders (Rose), Danny Sanders (Nancy) and Julia Sanders-Ackerman (Bill); and his sisters, Wanda Fisher (Roger) of Mountain Home and Shirley Grimes of Batesville, Arkansas.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice, honoring Bobby's generous spirit.
