We are sad to announce that, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 83, Douglas Paul Montgomery Jr. of Kennewick, Washington, born in West Seattle, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Douglas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Douglas. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Elaine Lyle Montgomery and Paul Irving Montgomery. He is survived by: his aunt Jean Collins; his brother Lyle (Cheryl); and his children, Traci (Steve), Heidi (Jason), Lisa (Tom), Brandi, Shawn (Sherri) and Doug Jr.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
If you wish, you may make donations in Doug's memory to the Disabled American Veterans or Special Olympics in honor of his daughter, Brandi.
