We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2025, at the age of 93, Mary Ellen Poole of Kennewick, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Mary Ellen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Layne and Gladys Gardenhire. She is survived by: her daughter Estelle; her son-in-law Steve Marks; her son Dennis Poole; and her grandchildren, Nick Marks, Erik Marks (Jessie) and Laura Noonan (Tim). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park (3001 Terrace Heights Dr, Yakima, WA 98901).
