He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell Hymas and Rena Risenmay Hymas; and his brother Leon. He is survived by: his brothers, Steven, Leo, Charles and Lorin; his children, Michelle (Scott), Jay (Karla), Mark (Brigette), Brian (Grace) and Jared; his brother Clint; and his wife Mona Kay Andersen. He is also survived by his 5 children, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home (1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA 99338). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Riverview Heights Cemetery (1200 S Olympia St, Kennewick, WA 99337).
