He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Sell Welty and Mary Ellen Kaylor Welty. He is survived by: his sister Kay Gilles (Valerie Ann Kurpieski) of Capitola, CA; his stepdaughter Lisa House Cooley (Joneen Lynn Calhoun) of Richland, WA; and his daughters, Kim Lygia Welty-Allen of Dolores, CO, Kit Kaylor McBurney of Richland, WA, Crista Kee Towne of Kennewick, WA. and Nancy Lee Isaac Powell of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
