We are sad to announce that, on December 7, 2020, at the age of 81, Ada Carter (Kent, Washington), born in Bastrop, Louisiana passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, F. C. Prosper Smith Sr. and Rosie Lee Smith; her daughter Helen Smith; and her siblings, W. C. Smith, Jerry K. Smith, Lee Edward and Savannah Parker.

She is survived by: her husband Alphonse Carter; her siblings, F. C. Smith Jr., Virdie Smith, Earnie Mae Berton and Rosie Marie Smith; her children, Willie DeWayne Smith, Pamela Artison and Nature Carter-Gooding; and her grandchildren, Raymond Brown, Rayona Williams, Vera Artison, Delorean Smith, Tytionna Carter, Bentley Artison, Karrea Brooks, Elijah Whaley, Jamahl Smith and Emmanuel Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, The family will have walk-through viewing service on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 1pm-3pm at Serenity Personal Alternative Chapel, 749 Central Avenue North Kent, WA 98032.
