It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Wingert (Kent, Washington), who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delbert Smith and Ruth Smith (Mobley); her grandparents, Samuel and Clara Jane Smith (Messenger); her great-grandparents, John E. and Catherine Messenger (Lord); her husband Herman L. Wingert; her children, Paul Wingert (Eunice), Tonette Bowen (Brad), Lisa Bordon (Gerald) and Kimberly Owen (Scott); her sister Betty Otos (Smith) of Vancouver, WA; her daughter Theresa Jo Schwantes; her siblings, C. Orlin Smith and Ruth Talerico (Smith); and her daughter Tamara Hofer (Wingert). She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
