She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hoovler and Donna "Ibby" Ceasar; and her stepfathers, Bill Stempel and Rick Ceasar. She is survived by: her husband Bobby G. Penney Jr.; her brothers, Rick Hoovler (Linda) and Mike Hoovler; her stepsisters, Sandy Marquette, Susan Stempel and Kim D'Ambrogi; her children, Bobby Penney III (Jillian Penney), Adam Penney (Kenneth Landis), Scott Penney (April Penney) and Kristin Armstrong (Trevor Armstrong); her grandchildren, Kynsley, Kyndon, Klifton (Scott), Lucas, Gavin, Carson and Jaxon (Kristin); her great grandchild Arison (Kynsley); and her friend Shelly Hanken-Rockwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Laurie's memory to the Loomis Community Church.
