He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Bass and Aline Bass; and his siblings, Eric, Frederick Sr., Lydia and Rebecca.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Bass; his children, Davina Bass Clemmons (Mark), Leonard Bass II, Michael Bass, Emmanuel Bass and Tamara Bass; and his grandchildren, Marcus, Marquis, Joshua, Leonard III, Theron, LaToya, Tamyra, Jakobi, Julius and Camila. He is also survived by extended family, church family, and dear friends.
