He is survived by : his wife Joan Gentala Ames; his daughters, Gina Ames and Lesley Ames; his grandchildren, Mikyle Crawford (Michelle) and Mariah Crawford; and his brothers, John Ames (Georgi) and William Ames (Kathie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
