She was predeceased by: her sister Danisha Smith; and her grandmother Barbara Jones. She is survived by: her parents, Dolly Ann Cooper and Daryl Shawn Nelson; her sons, Damarie Jones and Damarreon Nelson; her grandson Keyontay Jones; her siblings, Daryl Nelson, Tony Smith and Ikela Nelson (Mary Williams); and her siblings' children, Taleeya, Christina, Sarah, Jaeshawn and Mike. She is also survived by numerous loving Uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends.
