She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wann and Ester Wann; and her grandson Nick. She is survived by: her husband Mel Thompson; her children, Mel Jr. (Leslee), Mike (Sydney) and Teri (Jim Presser); and her brother Bill Wann (Anita). She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
