It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell Taylor Lees of Kirkland, Washington, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Lowell may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgiana Taylor and Charles Lowell Lees; and his son David Lees. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Lees and Carolyn Lees Howland; his wife Janet Romney; his son-in-law Roy Howland; his grandson David Howland; and his sister Georgiana Burbank (Cissie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM, on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and at 11:30 AM. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
