He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda Lynn Wright; his parents, Johnny Johnson and Thelma Mae Johnson (Pease); and his siblings, Edmond, Damon, George Johnson and Thelma D. Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Teisha Monae Johnson; his granddaughter Brionna Marie Pettway; and his sisters, Leilia Riley and Sherry Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
