We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2022, at the age of 96, Alfred Kenneth Walter in Lacey, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary E. Welder Welder (Sands) and Clifford W. Welder; his wife Catherine "Kitty" Gallagher (Gallagher); and his sister Joan Silagy (Welder). He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Gornto (Steve) of Watkinsville, Georgia, Eileen Green (Marcus) of Concord and Mary Beth Ricks (Bob) of Olympia; and his grandchildren, Leah, Ian, Nathan and Evan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, maybe take a friend out to lunch, go for a hike, or go to a concert.
