She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Carruthers and Hedley Carruthers; her husband Bob Mercer; and her sister Hazel Magill. She is survived by: her daughter Dawn McElvain (Jeff); her grandson Quinn Mc Elvain; and her siblings-in-law, John Mercer (Linda) and Carolyn Mercer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; and numerous friends.
