She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Rayfield and Lona Rayfield (Barnes); her husband Jim Ward, Sr.; and her siblings, Avis Higginbotham, Marie Hurst, Lillie Mae Franklin, Doris Nierman and Curtis Rayfield.
She is survived by: her children, Jim, Jr. Ward (Missy), Lona Parton (Doug) and Denise Ward; her grandchildren, Kellen Parton (Sarah), Evan Parton (Leah), Noelle Swenson (Aidan), Juliea Smith (Shawn), Caroline Fitzgerald (Daniel) and Jesse Ward (Callie); her brother John Rayfield (Hazel); and her aunt Myrtle Floyd. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
