She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dewar and Fay Dewar; and her husband William Dykstra. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cruz (Mauro), David Dykstra (Wendy), Eric Dykstra (Lisa) and Laura Mills (Ken); her sister Shirley Kangas; and her cousins, Dianne McPherson and Darlene Linahan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
