She was predeceased by: her husband Donnie R. McGowen; her parents, Bud Vandiver and Eunice Vandiver; her brother Eddie; and her sister-in-law Nellie Vandiver.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul McGowen and Hal McGowen (Rose); her grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda), Troy McGowen and Hannah McGowen; and her great grandchildren, Fitz, Cormac and Quaid.
