He is survived by: his wife Michelle Brandenburg; his children, Zac Brandenburg, Jake Brandenburg, Katie Merly, Taylor Brandenburg, Eric Brandenburg and Sydney Rusch; his children-in-law, Mercy Brandenburg and Isaac Merly; his siblings, Ellie Melancon, Randy Melancon, Bernie Brandenburg, Bob Brandenburg and Joelle Brandenburg; and his mother Janet Brandenburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
