He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin McCarthy and Ruth McCarthy; his son Justin B. McCarthy; his siblings, Justin McCarthy, Nina Schrader and Catherine McCarthy; and his grandsons, Christopher and Jonah McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Dennis Patrick McCarthy Jr. and Douglas McCarthy; his stepchildren, Deana Glenn (Jim), Jeff Stokes (Marti) and Eric Stokes (Brooke); his grandchild Skai Hogue (Zane Hogue); his stepchildren, Dennis Patrick McCarthy III, Zack, Kayla McCarthy, Ava Glenn, Logan, Mallory Stokes, Alex and Colton Stokes; and his great grandchildren, Bodi and Mila Hogue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cowlitz County Event Center (1900 7th Ave, Longview, WA 98632).
