He was predeceased by : his father Raymond Laufer; and his brother-in-law Don Coddington. He is survived by : his mother Sandra Laufer (Cooper); his wife Beth Laufer (Brown); his daughters, Claire Wolff (Trevor) and Emma Christopherson (Joe); his granddaughter Mara Wolff; his sisters, Cheryl Coddington, Suzy Reddington (Steve) and Karin Johnson; and also, Barry, Diane Brown and Katie Ritsema (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rose School, Longview, WA or the Washington State School of the Blind, Vancouver, WA, in his name.
