It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merry Gail Black in Longview, Washington, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Watkins and Elbie Watkins; her husband Bob Black; her daughter Suzie Johnson; her grandsons, Benjamin Peterson and Robert Jouwsma; and her great grandchildren, Veyda Roth and Emma Roth.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Peterson (Mike Peterson), Chris Roth (Marylin Borden), Shaleen Lomen (Garry Lomen), Craig Black (Kim Black), Terri McGee, Lisa Black Straughan and Don Robert Black. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
